The survivor-led model sees women as the drivers of their own recovery with guidance from expertise as needed. Magdalene House helps facilitate what each woman wants for herself every day. Survivors work alongside the Community Director to develop an individualized recovery plan and connect to the needed services. In the first six months, women begin to heal from trauma and receive medical, dental, mental health, and substance abuse counseling. They receive intensive educational programming that includes life skills, financial literacy, and professional development as they progress through the program, ensuring every woman has time and access to the services she needs to heal and thrive.

Magdalene House has purchased the house across the street from their original home allowing for more women to find sanctuary with Magdalene House. A transformative remodel of the house will allow the addition of 6 beds. Remodel will include interior of home and landscaping enhancements to allow sanctuary and privacy.
